“Wha… What are you …. doing?” She tried to talk but it was tough. She wasn’t sure why Ariana was doing this. Either way, she still buried her head in her shoulder. If she needed anybody, it was her.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” she asked softly. “I’m holding you.” She wasn’t sure why she was doing this, or what possessed her to, but she wasn’t going to leave now. She rubbed her back gently. “I’ve got you.”
She took a few deep breaths, and looked up. “It kind of seemed like you hated me.” She said, tears still streaming down her face.
She let out a sigh, trying to wipe her tears. “I could never hate you Ash.” she said softly. “Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t. I love you too much to hate you.”
Ashley felt reassured after she heard her words. “I’m sorry. I cant say it enough”
“You don’t need to.” Ariana said softly. “You’ve said it enough.” She knew it was a risky move, but after she spoke she kissed Ashley’s head gently.
